To date, Overlook Foundation has raised $61 million or 70 percent of its goal.
Is Atlantic Health System partnering with Overlook in this endeavor?
Overlook’s parent organization, Atlantic Health System, has pledged a capital reinvestment in the hospital’s master plan of more than $94 million for construction and new equipment.
Can I pay off my campaign pledge over multiple years?
Yes, we are happy to create a payment plan that best suits you. For major gifts, the foundation typically drafts a simple pledge agreement that indicates the agreed upon payment plan.
Can I use assets other than cash to pay my campaign pledge?
Yes, Overlook Foundation accepts cash, publicly traded securities, paid-up life insurance policies, designations from donor-advised funds or private foundations (with attention to these sources in the pledge agreement mandatory), marketable real estate, and other assets. In addition, planned gifts such as charitable gift annuities, IRA distributions, and estate gifts can be used to support the campaign while providing tax benefits to the donor.
Are naming opportunities available?
A number of naming opportunities exist throughout the hospital and are available for any gift about $25,000. The nature of your recognition is dependent upon gift size and the preferred location. Our gift acceptance policy outlines the terms and conditions for naming opportunities.
Can I make a campaign gift in honor of someone?
Many friends in our community choose to make a gift in honor of a loved one or respected caregiver as a gesture of gratitude. We will work closely with you to ensure that your meaningful gift is appropriately recognized.
How long is the project expected to take?
Construction is currently underway and expected to continue until at least 2027. Hospital leadership is working diligently throughout to move ahead with facility improvements while maintaining a healing environment for all patients.
