The Overlook Nursing Scholarship program is made possible through the generosity of donors in our community. More than 65 scholarships, ranging from $500 to $1,500, are awarded annually to full time, part time and per diem Overlook employees in good standing who are pursuing nursing degrees. To qualify employees must be enrolled in an accredited nursing education program, have a tenure of two or more years at Overlook, and a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Two scholarship paths are available: one for current employed nurses seeking an advanced degree, and one for non-nursing employees seeking a degree in nursing. The deadline to apply is July 1, 2024. The scholarships can be used for any aspect of your academic pursuits including tuition, books, materials, lab fees, transportation, etc.
