Now Accepting 2026 Community Grant Applications

Overlook Foundation proudly supports local nonprofit organizations through community grants that fund health-related initiatives. Eligible organizations must serve the primary catchment area for Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center, which includes Union County and its neighboring communities.

We are now accepting applications for the 2026 Community Grant cycle. The deadline to apply is February 27, 2026.

How to Apply

  1. Review the 2026 Community Grants Guidelines
  2. Past grantees: Submit a completed 2026 Community Grant Report to overlookgrants@atlantichealth.org before applying for a 2026 grant.
  3. Complete the 2026 Community Grant Application and include all required attachments as outlined in the guidelines.
  4. Submit your full application package as a single PDF to overlookgrants@atlantichealth.org.

Please ensure your application is complete; incomplete submissions cannot be accepted. Reminder: Past grantees must submit a Community Grant Report within one (1) year of receiving grant funds.

2025 Community Grants Awarded

On June 3, 2025, the Board of Trustees approved community grants to 21 community organizations: Alzheimer’s New Jersey, The Arc of Union County, Bridges Outreach, Caring Contact, Crossroads4Hope, Diabetes Foundation, Empower the Village, Girls on the Run NJ East, Good Grief, GRACE, Imagine, A Center for Coping with Loss, Our House Foundation, Roots & Wings, SAGE Eldercare, Second Street Youth Center Foundation, Summit Area YMCA, Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad, TheraYouth Foundation, Visions and Pathways, Westfield Area YMCA, and Youth & Family Counseling Services

In the 2025 grant cycle, the average award was approximately $3,500, with grants ranging from $2,000 to $5,000. Through programs addressing priorities such as the social determinants of health, older adult care, and mental health, these organizations help advance Overlook’s mission to empower our communities to be among the healthiest in the nation.
