About Us
Overlook Foundation offers donors the opportunity to change the present and future of health care via their philanthropy. Founded in 1976, Overlook Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charity that has been named a High Performer every year since 2019 by the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy. The accolade ranks the foundation among the top 25 percent in net fundraising returns for similar philanthropic organizations in the United States and Canada.
As a public foundation, we primarily support the nonprofit Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center but also a few local nonprofits with health-related projects that complement the mission of the hospital. In 2025 Healthgrades recognized Overlook Medical Center as one of the top 50 U.S. hospitals, based on its medical outcomes and patient safety.
