Golfers will be teeing off on the lush fairways of Canoe Brook Country Club for the 28th Annual Overlook Foundation Golf Tournament on Monday, June 11th. Sponsored by Bank of America, the event will benefit the Gerald J. Glasser Brain Tumor Center at Overlook.
Following a buffet luncheon, participants will take to the links where several hole-in-one prizes, including luxury automobiles, await. Later that evening, they will have a chance to win big at a silent auction featuring vacations, sports and entertainment packages, and rounds of golf at some of the area’s most prestigious courses.
Many business and healthcare leaders traditionally attend the awards dinner, at which the Anthony F. Coppola, MD Memorial Award is presented to the golfer with the lowest individual gross score. Individual prizes are also awarded for longest drive and closest to the pin, while team prizes go to the top third of registered foursomes when ranked according to low net.
For more information, contact the Overlook Foundation at 908-522-5330. On-line and mail registration will be available beginning April 1.
Trustee Jess Chang, Wayne Paglieri, Jonathan Norton, and Linda Carubia were among the golfers who enjoyed a beautiful June day at Canoe Brook Country Club, Summit, for the foundation’s golf outing last year.
