Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin will be the featured performers at the Overlook Foundation’s 2012 Gala – Perfect Pairings – on Saturday, September 29 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.

This pair of legendary Tony Award®-winning performers came together in 2011 for a six-week run of An Evening with Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin, reuniting these lifelong friends on Broadway for the first time since Evita. They will bring their unique musical love story to NJPAC in an hour-long private performance of a masterful selection of the greatest songs every written for the stage.

Proceeds from the gala will benefit ovarian cancer research at Overlook, which has been given the unique opportunity to partner with MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston on a study that may change the standard of care for how we screen for this disease. Guests will mingle with friends and enjoy a bounty of foods, with cocktail tables dotting the massive NJPAC lobby and adjoining tent for those who wish to sit for a few moments, and traditional tables offering a spot for guests who prefer to settle in. All guests will be seated in magnificent Prudential Hall for the entertainment portion of the evening.
